Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced today’s official foreign exchange rates.
According to the central bank, one US dollar is being bought at Rs 145.09 and sold at Rs 145.69.
The buying rate for one euro is Rs 168.29, while the selling rate is Rs 168.99. The UK pound sterling is priced at Rs 194.17 for buying and Rs 194.97 for selling. Likewise, the Swiss franc is being traded at Rs 180.70 for buying and Rs 181.44 for selling.
The Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 96.96 for buying and Rs 97.36 for selling. Similarly, the Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 104.27 and sold at Rs 104.70. The Singapore dollar stands at Rs 112.56 for buying and Rs 113.03 for selling.
For Japanese currency, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.18, while the selling rate is Rs 9.21. One Chinese yuan is priced at Rs 20.82 for buying and Rs 20.91 for selling.
The Saudi Arabian riyal is being traded at Rs 38.69 for buying and Rs 38.85 for selling. Similarly, the Qatari riyal has a buying rate of Rs 39.81 and a selling rate of Rs 39.97.
According to NRB, one Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.61 and sold at Rs 4.63. The UAE dirham is priced at Rs 39.50 for buying and Rs 39.67 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 35.76 for buying and Rs 35.91 for selling.
Likewise, the buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.85, while the selling rate is Rs 9.89. The Swedish krona is priced at Rs 15.73 for buying and Rs 15.80 for selling. The Danish krone is being traded at Rs 22.52 for buying and Rs 22.62 for selling.
The Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 18.61 for buying and Rs 18.69 for selling. One Kuwaiti dinar is priced at Rs 474.46 for buying and Rs 476.42 for selling. Similarly, the Bahraini dinar is being traded at Rs 384.85 for buying and Rs 386.45 for selling, while the Omani rial stands at Rs 376.84 for buying and Rs 378.40 for selling.
For Indian currency, 100 Indian rupees are being bought at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
NRB has stated that these exchange rates can be changed at any time if needed.
