Kathmandu’s Minimum Temperature Drops Again

After a slight rise on Saturday, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley has dropped again on Sunday.

The Weather Forecasting Division said the minimum temperature in Kathmandu was 5.5 degrees Celsius at 5:45 am today. At the same time on Saturday, the temperature was higher at 6.8 degrees Celsius. However, the official minimum temperature recorded later at 8:45 am on Saturday was 5.8 degrees Celsius.

Today’s temperature is based on the early morning reading. The official minimum temperature will be measured again at 8:45 am, and weather experts say it may fall a little more.

Over the past few days, Kathmandu’s minimum temperature has been changing frequently. It was 7.5 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, dropped to 6.2 degrees on Thursday and 5.3 degrees on Friday, increased slightly to 5.8 degrees on Saturday, and has gone down again today.
