Kathmandu to Continue and Refine ‘One Ward, One Product’ Plan in New Fiscal Year

Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has announced it will continue the ‘One Ward, One Product’ initiative in the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83, with improvements to make the program more effective.

Presenting the city’s annual policies and programs on Friday, Mayor Balen Shah said the policy will be expanded to promote inclusive entrepreneurship. To support this, KMC plans to introduce incubation centers, seed capital grant programs, and cooperative reform strategies.

These efforts aim to help small businesses grow in each ward and encourage economic activity at the local level.
