The price of gold in the Nepali market surged by Rs 1,100 per tola on Sunday, reaching Rs 192,900, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. On Saturday, the yellow metal was traded at Rs 191,800 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver prices also made headlines after hitting a record high. The price of silver climbed to Rs 2,285 per tola, up from Rs 2,220 the previous day, the highest rate ever recorded in the country.

The continued rise in precious metal prices is attributed to fluctuations in the international market and rising investor interest in safe-haven assets. Traders suggest customers closely monitor price trends before making purchases.
