Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli has said that if unity remains strong within the party, no one can defeat UML.
Speaking at a district-level gathering of party workers on Sunday, Oli said that some selfish leaders who had long been part of UML and enjoyed its benefits later tried to split and weaken the party. However, he claimed the people and loyal workers saved UML and brought it back as a national force.
"Those who wish to see a country without UML or UML without KP Oli will not succeed," Oli stated. "UML is not a party for small personal gains—it's a party with a big mission to build the nation."
He further added, “Those trying to trap UML in conspiracies will fail. A buffalo never gets stuck in a spider’s web. Don’t fall for false propaganda. UML and KP Oli are not involved in corruption. We are not like RSP who run signature campaigns after facing charges for scamming cooperatives.”
Oli also mentioned that Nepal’s international image is improving. He said his recent visit to Spain was a success, but opposition parties, unable to digest it, are spreading rumors by using YCL (youth wings), falsely claiming that some people who went to Spain with him stayed behind.
