Gold prices in Nepal have climbed sharply, following a surge in the international market. On Tuesday, the price of fine gold increased by Rs 2,300 per tola compared to Monday’s rate.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold now stands at Rs 235,400 per tola, up from Rs 233,100 recorded a day earlier.

Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs 2,960 per tola, the same as Monday’s trading rate.

Experts attribute the rise to increasing global gold prices driven by market uncertainty and investor preference for safer assets.
