The Election Commission has unveiled the official timetable for the House of Representatives election, scheduled for Fagun 21 (March 5).

The Commission, issuing a statement on Monday, said the approved schedule details all major election processes, from party registration and candidate nominations to vote counting, to be conducted in a phased and orderly manner.
According to the timeline, election offices under the first-past-the-post system will be established from Magh 2 (January 15), while the election campaign period will run from Falgun 3 to 18 (February 15–March 2). A silence period will follow before the polling day.
The Commission further confirmed that voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fagun 21, adding that it is working to ensure a free, fair, and transparent election through effective coordination and timely preparations.
