Gold and Silver Prices Fall in Nepal

Gold prices in Nepal dropped by Rs 1,400 per tola (11.66 grams) today (April 28).

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, hallmark gold is now being sold at Rs 188,300 per tola, down from Rs 189,700 per tola recorded on Sunday.

Silver has also seen a fall, with its price dropping by Rs 20 per tola, setting the new rate at Rs 1,970 per tola.

The fluctuation in prices is mainly due to changes in the international market demand and currency exchange rates, which continue to impact local gold and silver trading.
