Kathmandu – Newly appointed Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Planning, Kulman Ghising, has unveiled plans to establish a special fund for reconstructing public buildings damaged during recent demonstrations.
Speaking after assuming office, Ghising appealed to Nepalis living abroad to contribute to the fund, emphasizing that the Cabinet will make formal decisions regarding its management.
“We need to rebuild the public structures immediately. The damage was caused by anger, but now it is our responsibility to restore them,” he said.
The fund aims to accelerate the repair of critical infrastructure, ensuring that essential services and public facilities are restored for the citizens.
