The Federal Parliament Secretariat has issued a public appeal for the return of property looted during the violent Gen-Z protests on September 9, when parts of the Parliament building in New Baneshwor were set ablaze.

In a notice published on Monday, the Secretariat urged individuals to hand back any items they may have taken or to provide information about the stolen materials. It also encouraged the public to share video footage showing people carrying away property, assuring that the identities of informants will remain confidential.

According to the Secretariat, inspections and reports indicate that a significant number of office items were stolen during the incident. Missing property includes furniture, computers, printers, scanners, cameras, televisions, microphones, audio mixers, speakers, photocopy machines, and other electronic equipment.

The Secretariat stressed that recovering these materials is essential for restoring operations after the arson, vandalism, and looting that struck the Parliament complex.
