Victims of the Gen-Z movement have urged Prime Minister Sushila Karki to take firm action against officials accused of corruption and abuse of power, warning that delays in justice could reignite public unrest.

During a meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Tuesday, the group of injured protesters emphasized the need for the government to translate its promises into action. They said the administration, formed in the wake of the youth-led uprising, must demonstrate real commitment to accountability and reform.

Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal briefed the participants on ongoing investigations related to corruption and the suppression of the movement. However, attendees expressed frustration over what they described as slow progress, criticizing the government’s focus on election preparations while key issues of justice remain unresolved.

The victims cautioned that the government’s credibility hinges on its ability to deliver justice to those who fought for change during the Gen-Z protests.
