Gagan Thapa: Fagun 21 Election Key to Political Stability

Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa has said that holding the Fagun 21 election is essential to steer the country out of its current sensitive situation.

Speaking in Pokhara, Thapa warned that delaying the election or choosing an alternative path could cause serious damage to the country. He said the government must engage in intensive dialogue with political parties to ensure a safe and credible election environment.

Thapa stressed that the Nepali Congress carries a national responsibility, even if it means bearing political losses, and urged all parties to remain neutral and cooperate to ensure the election’s success.

He also expressed confidence that incidents reported on Bhadau 23 and 24 would be investigated fairly by the state-formed commission.
