Gold and silver prices increased in the domestic market on Thursday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The price of gold rose by Rs 700 per tola to Rs 260,400, compared to Rs 259,700 on the previous trading day. The all-time high for gold in the Nepali market remains Rs 260,700 per tola, recorded on Monday.
Silver also saw an increase of Rs 25 per tola, reaching a new record of Rs 4,080 per tola. A day earlier, silver was traded at Rs 4,055 per tola.
The association noted that silver has hit record highs for two consecutive days, reflecting continued upward momentum in precious metal prices.
