Free Treatment for Six Health Conditions

The Ministry of Health and Population has announced free treatment for six different diseases and health conditions. |

This includes free treatment for cancer patients under 14 years of age, hemophilia, paralysis and burn survivors (including emergency treatment). The health ministry said it has already started providing free treatment to economically disadvantaged people in all seven provinces. 

Minister for Health and Population Pradip Paudel provided this information in response to a question from a lawmaker from the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Shishir Khanal. Minister Paudel informed that this entire package will cost around 4.5 billion rupees annually.
