Fire Breaks Out at Woodland Hotel in Kathmandu, No Casualties Reported

A fire broke out at Woodland Hotel in the Durbar Marg area of Kathmandu on Thursday morning.

Preliminary reports say the fire started in the hotel’s club section due to a short circuit. Nepal Police and four fire engines from Kathmandu Metropolitan City rushed to the scene to control the fire.

Firefighters and security personnel are still working to fully put out the blaze.

No one has been reported injured so far. The exact cause of the fire and the amount of property damage are still unknown.
