Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel presented the national budget for the fiscal year 2082/83 on Thursday. While presenting the budget in both houses of the Federal Parliament, he said that reservoir-based hydropower projects have been given high priority.
He also announced that the remaining work of rural electrification will be completed within two years. A feasibility study for green hydrogen will be carried out.
Minister Poudel added that the construction of the Tamakoshi-5 project will be accelerated. Similarly, the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the Pancheshwar project will be completed and the construction process will begin.
