Nepal Rastra Bank has updated the foreign currency exchange rates for today, Saturday, showing that the value of most major currencies has gone up. These include the US dollar, euro, British pound, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar. However, some currencies like the Australian dollar have slightly dropped in value.
The euro, which had been falling for the past two days, has now started to rise. According to the central bank, one US dollar is being bought at NPR 136.63 and sold at NPR 137.23 today, a small increase from yesterday’s rates of NPR 136.52 and NPR 137.12.
The euro is being bought at NPR 154.83 and sold at NPR 155.51, which is higher than yesterday’s rates of NPR 154.07 and NPR 154.75. The British pound is now being bought at NPR 184.11 and sold at NPR 184.92, up slightly from NPR 183.86 and NPR 184.67 yesterday.
The Australian dollar has dropped a little, with today’s buying rate at NPR 87.73 and selling rate at NPR 88.12. Yesterday, the rates were slightly higher at NPR 87.87 for buying and NPR 88.26 for selling.
Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti dinar is now being bought at NPR 445.32 and sold at NPR 447.28, a rise from yesterday’s rates of NPR 444.60 and NPR 446.56. The Bahraini dinar has also increased slightly, with a buying rate of NPR 362.41 and a selling rate of NPR 364.01, compared to yesterday’s NPR 362.12 and NPR 363.71.
