The Kathmandu District Administration Office has officially declared parts of the Durbar Marg area a prohibited zone, effective from Ashar 17 to Ashar 24. This decision was made based on the recommendation of the District Security Committee to maintain peace and order.

As per the notice signed by Chief District Officer Rishiram Tiwari, no gatherings, protests, rallies, or similar activities will be allowed during this period. The decision follows recommendations from the District Security Committee after recent developments in the capital.

The restricted zone includes the stretch from Keshar Mahal Chowk to the southern gate of the Narayanhiti Palace Museum, passing through the Jai Nepal turn, and the route from Mahendra Shalik to the southern gate of the museum.

The administration has requested everyone to cooperate with the order and avoid organizing or participating in any protest-related events in the area. The move is aimed at preventing any possible disturbances and ensuring public safety.
