Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Indira Rana, has left for a six-day official visit to China. She is leading a two-member team.
According to Ekram Giri, spokesperson for the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Deputy Speaker Rana flew to Henan Province on a China Southern Airlines flight last night. She is accompanied by Jagdish Neupane, who is the Deputy Secretary at the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
The purpose of her visit is to take part in the Shanghai Cooperation Forum Media and Think Tank Summit, which is being held in Henan Province from July 23 to July 27.
During the summit, Deputy Speaker Rana will deliver a speech and meet with provincial leaders. She will also visit important places in the province, including Zhengzhou City.
She is expected to return to Nepal on July 27.
