In a late-night operation across Kathmandu Valley, Nepal Police arrested 47 individuals involved in criminal activities, including well-known gangster Chakre Milan.
The coordinated effort by the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office and the District Police Office targeted people involved in hooliganism, extortion, and violence, especially in areas like Thamel and Maharajgunj.
According to SSP Ramesh Basnet, those arrested were active in restaurant and club-related fights and threats. He said all suspects are now in custody and under interrogation.
Among those detained was Yubraj Gurung, also known as Sanubhai, who was arrested around 3 a.m. from a Dohori club in Thamel. He was allegedly involved in a recent clash with a rival group at Narsinghchowk.
