Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Ravi Lamichhane has stated that the current government will fulfill the promises made to the public during the elections. Speaking to journalists at Simara Airport in Bara on Wednesday, he claimed that the government will move forward in line with the commitments outlined in the election manifesto.
“We entered the government carrying the promises made to the people, and we will fulfill all those commitments,” Lamichhane said.
Arriving in Birgunj via Simara, Lamichhane appeared at the Parsa District Court on Wednesday to attend a scheduled hearing. He went to the court in connection with a case related to the Small Step Cooperative fraud filed against him in Parsa.
According to court registrar Devaraj Bhattarai, Lamichhane completed the necessary legal procedures and attended the hearing. After completing the process at the court, he returned to Kathmandu in the afternoon.
Considering Lamichhane’s presence, security arrangements around the court premises had been significantly tightened since early Wednesday morning.
