Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has held discussions with Armed Police Force Chief IGP Raju Aryal.

 

During the meeting, an initiative was launched to include disaster rescue-related programs in the school curriculum, aiming to develop life skills in children from an early age.

 

For this, the Armed Police Force (APF) has been directed to make the necessary preparations.

 

Gurung stated that the plan will be implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Education. The program aims to provide children with knowledge on staying safe during natural disasters, basic rescue skills, and awareness.

 

Through this initiative, students are expected to gain practical knowledge and become capable of handling emergency situations. It has been stated that the project will be effectively implemented through coordination among relevant agencies.
