Clear Skies Across Nepal, Cold Mornings in Kathmandu

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology mentioned that there are no major weather systems affecting Nepal right now, so the overall weather is stable.

Most parts of the country will have clear skies. However, the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces may become partly cloudy this afternoon. Tonight, the weather is expected to remain clear everywhere.

In the Kathmandu Valley, the temperature dropped to 6.0°C early this morning at 5:45, making it a cold start to the day. Today’s maximum temperature is likely to be between 17°C and 19°C.

Authorities are advising people, especially those living in higher or open areas of the Valley, to prepare for cold mornings and evenings as winter slowly becomes stronger.
