Minister for Water Supply, Pradeep Yadav, said that clean and safe drinking water is no longer just a dream for the people of Nepal—it is now becoming a reality.

He spoke during the opening of the Nangedanda Comprehensive Pumping Drinking Water Scheme in Wards 5 and 6 of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality in Sindhuli. Minister Yadav said that providing safe drinking water to everyone—from remote villages to busy towns—is a top priority for the government.

“We are working to build a healthy and developed Nepal, where clean water is not just a hope, but a right for all,” he said.

He also mentioned that clean water is not a luxury or just a service—it is a basic human right and a necessity for life.

“This project shows our commitment, and I believe everyone here will benefit from it,” he added.

Minister Yadav praised the cooperation between the federal government, local governments, and the people. He said the Nangedanda project is a great example of teamwork.

“This project helps the government’s mission to provide safe water to every home. It will also help improve health and support the development of the local area,” he said.
