Both Houses of the Federal Parliament are meeting today, with several important proposals and bills scheduled for discussion.

The House of Representatives will convene at 11:00 AM. During the session, Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel will present a proposal for a general discussion on the government's revenue and expenditure estimates for the fiscal year 2025/026.

Also in the House, Ramhari Khatiwada, Chairperson of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, will table the committee’s report on the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2082.

Meanwhile, the National Assembly is set to meet at 1:15 PM. Finance Minister Paudel will present a proposal for consideration of the Customs Bill, 2080. In addition, Minister for Education, Health and Technology, Raghuji Pant, will present a proposal to discuss the Martyr Dasharath Chand Institute of Health Sciences Bill, 2080, which was recently forwarded by the House of Representatives.
