The film "Unko Sweater," which became the first superhit movie of the year 2082 (Nepali calendar), is now in its fourth week of screening.
Even after four weeks, the movie is still getting good support from the audience. To celebrate this happiness, the film team cut a cake with the viewers.
On Tuesday evening, at FCube Cinema Hall in Chabahil, Kathmandu, the team and audience shared the joy by cutting a cake after watching the movie.
The main actors Bipin Karki, Alex Paras, Parikshya Limbu, Sharda Devi Silwal, Bhawana Khapangi Magar, singer Sujan Chapagai, music director Kobid Bazra, lyricist Hark Saud, and director Nabinn Chauhan were present.
The cake was decorated with pictures of the movie posters and scenes from popular songs. According to director Nabin Chauhan, this cake-cutting event was not a promotional activity but a way to thank and share happiness with the audience.
After the movie collected over 100 million rupees in gross revenue, a lottery was held to select a cinema hall for this celebration. FCube Cinema was chosen, so the event took place there.
Director Chauhan said, "We are not giving anything material to anyone, but we want to give love to our audience. We cut the cake to share that love."
The film is currently being shown in more than 100 shows across Nepal and also in countries like the USA, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Europe, and the Middle East.
The movie features actors like Bipin Karki, Miruna Magar, Parikshya Limbu, Alex Paras, Wilson Bikram Rai, Suraj Tamu, Bhawana Khapangi Magar, and Sunil Pokharel.
The production team announced that the film earned 105 million rupees in gross revenue within three weeks. However, the earnings after that period have not been disclosed.
