Biplav-Led Maoist Party Unveils Manifesto Ahead of March 5 Polls

The Nepal Communist Party (Maoist), led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’, has released its election manifesto. The party says it wants to improve the lives of poor and marginalized people through strong government economic policies.

The manifesto was made public at a press conference on Sunday. General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand was present at the event. The party is preparing for the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5.

This is the first time the party is taking part in elections after joining peaceful politics. The party has promised to end capitalist, middleman-led, and foreign-influenced policies. It aims to reduce the gap between rich and poor.

Chand said the party is committed to making education and healthcare affordable and accessible to everyone. He also said the private sector should not be allowed to charge fees as it wishes. The party has promised to create jobs for the people.

He stressed the importance of making agriculture self-sufficient, increasing investment in science and technology, and encouraging young people to stay and work in the country. The party also aims to increase trade and investment to make Nepal economically strong.
