Westerly Winds Bring Cloudy Weather to Hills

The Meteorological Forecasting Division said that westerly winds are affecting the weather across the country.

Because of this, the weather in hilly and mountainous areas will be partly cloudy, while most other places will stay mostly clear. Many parts of the Terai are covered with fog and mist.

Fog and mist are likely to continue today in several Terai areas. Some hilly and mountainous parts of Koshi Province, as well as the higher hills and Himalayan regions of Gandaki and Karnali provinces, will remain partly cloudy.

There is a chance of light rain and snowfall in one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

The rest of the country is expected to have mostly clear weather, with only a few high hilly and Himalayan areas possibly seeing light rain or snowfall.
