Nepali Communist Party Coordinator and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said there is no chance of forming an all-party government, as the country has already moved forward with the election process.

Speaking at an interaction organised by the Press Centre in Khandbari on Saturday, Dahal said the current government itself will conduct the elections since the process has already started.

He explained that political parties have already submitted their closed lists under the proportional representation (PR) system to the Election Commission, which clearly shows that the country is heading towards elections.

Dahal said the Gen Z youth support elections and there is no reason to be confused or uncertain. He added that there will be no all-party government or changes in the current government.

Before returning to Kathmandu, Dahal told journalists that the present government is fully capable of holding the House of Representatives election on March 5.
He also recalled that during the constitution-making process, political parties had promised to review the Constitution after 10 years and make necessary amendments by learning from its strengths and weaknesses.

Dahal said political parties should seek a fresh mandate from the people in line with the spirit of the Gen Z movement. He stressed that since the election process has already begun, Parliament will not be reinstated, and the current government must complete the election process.
