The NEPSE index declined by 10.29 points on Sunday, the first trading day of the week, closing at 2,610.63.
A total of 12.74 million shares of 323 companies were traded in 79,702 transactions, with a turnover of Rs 5.1 billion. Most sectoral indices ended in the red, with only Hotel and Tourism, Production and Processing, and Trade posting gains. The ‘Others’ group recorded the biggest loss.
Win Nepal Microfinance and Srinagar Agritech hit positive circuits, while Nyadi Hydropower fell 4.32%. NIC Asia Bank led trading by volume, and the highest turnover stood at Rs 300.65 million.
