Westerly Winds Bring Clouds, Fog, and Light Snow to Parts of Nepal

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology says that westerly winds are partly influencing Nepal’s weather.

Currently, the high hills and mountains of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces have some clouds, while the rest of the country is mostly clear.

Fog is expected in some parts of the Terai region until noon today. The mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces will stay mostly cloudy, while other hilly and mountainous regions will have partial clouds. The Terai region will mostly remain clear.

There is a chance of light rain or snowfall in a few high hill and mountain areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in one or two places in the high hills and mountains of other provinces.

Tonight, fog may continue in some Terai areas. The high hills and mountains of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki will stay partly cloudy, and the rest of the country will remain mostly clear.

Light rain or snowfall is also possible in one or two places in the high hills and mountains of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
