The weather in the country is currently being affected by local winds along with the usual westerly winds.
As of today (Wednesday) morning, the hilly areas, including in Koshi Province, are mostly cloudy or partly cloudy.
The rest of the country is experiencing clear skies, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
There may be light snowfall in a few places in the high hilly and mountainous regions today.
The division also predicts light rain and thunder in some parts of the hilly areas in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces, and a few places in the hilly areas of other provinces, as mentioned in their 6 am bulletin.
The division has advised the public to take precautions because the rain and snow could affect daily life, health, and road and air travel.
