Vice President Sharma Says Only Nepali Congress Can Lead Country Out of Crisis

Bishwprakash Sharma, Vice President of Nepali Congress, has stated that only the Nepali Congress has the strength to lead the country out of its current crisis.

Addressing an election rally in Gulmi-1 on Saturday, Sharma said that no other party besides Congress is capable of providing a solution for the nation at this time.

He said, “The strength to manage the country today lies with Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa. Under the leadership of experienced leaders like Dr. Chandra Bhandari, we are confident that we can structure and drive improvements across society. The capability to handle the country rests solely with President Thapa.”

Vice President Sharma also explained that while Thapa serves as Prime Minister, party leaders, including himself will monitor whether elected MPs raise the right issues in parliament and will check every two months whether they are addressing the problems of their constituencies.

He added, “Those of us not in parliament will oversee whether elected MPs raise the correct issues and will regularly follow up, visiting each constituency every two months to ensure voter concerns are addressed.”

Sharma urged voters in Gulmi to support Dr. Chandra Bhandari, describing him as a responsible and experienced leader who will prioritize the district’s development after being elected under Congress. He emphasized that the commitments made by Bhandari are not only his own but also reflect the leadership of Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa, who will lead the country.
