President Thapa to Address Election Rallies in Four Madhesh Districts Today

Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa is scheduled to address election rallies in four districts of Madhesh Province today, Saturday.

According to his secretariat, he will visit Lalbandi in Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara, and then reach Birgunj in Parsa to address the rallies. During this tour, President Thapa will also participate in a roadshow.

Similarly, President Thapa is set to address a program in the Kathmandu Valley on Sunday, Falgun 17.

After unveiling the party’s manifesto in Janakpur on Falgun 6, he discussed it in Kathmandu’s National Assembly Hall on Falgun 7 and answered questions raised regarding the manifesto.

President Thapa had addressed election rallies in Surkhet and Banke last Thursday, and on Friday, he spoke at rallies in Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, Baglung, and Kaski.

At the rally in Butwal, Vice President Pushpa Bhusal Gautam was present, while Vice President Bishwprakash Sharma attended the rally in Pokhara. On Saturday, President Thapa will go alone, and Vice President Sharma will join the Kathmandu program on Sunday.

Vice President Sharma is scheduled to visit three districts today. After being in Pokhara on Friday, he will first address a program in Gulmi, followed by Dolpa. From Dolpa, he will address two programs in Achham, according to the secretariat.

Vice President Sharma is expected to return to Kathmandu by Saturday evening. The secretariat stated that his schedule includes: 12:00 PM in Chhatra Dev, Gulmi; 1:00 PM in Jufal, Dolpa; 2:00 PM in Sanfebagar, Achham; 3:15 PM in Kamal Bazar, Achham; and then return to Kathmandu at 4:20 PM.
