The United States has launched large-scale airstrikes on Iran under an operation named “Operation Epic Fury,” President Donald Trump said early Saturday. He stated the mission aims to eliminate threats from Iran’s regime and dismantle its nuclear and missile capabilities.
Explosions were reported in Tehran’s Pasteur district, home to the residence of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, as well as other cities. The full extent of the damage is still unclear.
