Nepal Rastra Bank has released today’s foreign exchange rates, showing that the US dollar has reached its highest value ever against the Nepali rupee. According to the central bank, one US dollar is being bought at Rs 144.88 and sold at Rs 145.48.
The euro is being exchanged at Rs 170.20 for buying and Rs 170.90 for selling. The UK pound sterling stands at Rs 193.95 for buying and Rs 194.75 for selling, while the Swiss franc is priced at Rs 182 for buying and Rs 182.75 for selling.
Similarly, the Australian dollar is set at Rs 96.29 for buying and Rs 96.69 for selling. The Canadian dollar is valued at Rs 105.20 for buying and Rs 105.64 for selling, and the Singapore dollar is being traded at Rs 112.38 for buying and Rs 112.85 for selling.
For Japanese currency, the rate for 10 yen has been fixed at Rs 9.35 for buying and Rs 9.39 for selling. The Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 20.56 for buying and Rs 20.64 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs 38.61 and sold at Rs 38.77, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 39.76 for buying and Rs 39.92 for selling.
The Thai baht is priced at Rs 4.61 for buying and Rs 4.63 for selling. The UAE dirham is set at Rs 39.45 for buying and Rs 39.61 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit is being exchanged at Rs 35.40 for buying and Rs 35.55 for selling. The South Korean won is priced at Rs 9.89 for buying and Rs 9.93 for selling. Likewise, the Swedish krona stands at Rs 15.59 for buying and Rs 15.66 for selling, while the Danish krone is valued at Rs 22.78 for buying and Rs 22.88 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has also fixed the Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.62 for buying and Rs 18.69 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at Rs 472.14 for buying and Rs 474.90 for selling. The Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 384.32 for buying and Rs 385.91 for selling, and the Omani rial is priced at Rs 376.31 for buying and Rs 377.87 for selling. Meanwhile, 100 Indian rupees are being bought at Rs 160 and sold at Rs 160.15.
