Nepal Rastra Bank has published today’s foreign exchange rates, showing that the value of the US dollar has increased again. According to the central bank, one US dollar is being bought at Rs 144.02 and sold at Rs 144.62.
Similarly, one euro is being bought at Rs 168.79 and sold at Rs 169.49, while the UK pound sterling is trading at Rs 193.51 for buying and Rs 194.32 for selling. The Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 181.53 for buying and Rs 182.29 for selling.
The Australian dollar is being bought at Rs 96.38 and sold at Rs 96.78, and the Canadian dollar at Rs 104.95 for buying and Rs 105.39 for selling. Likewise, the Singapore dollar has been set at Rs 111.93 for buying and Rs 112.40 for selling.
For Japanese currency, the buying rate of 10 yen is Rs 9.18 and the selling rate is Rs 9.22. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 20.59 and sold at Rs 20.68. The Saudi Arabian riyal is priced at Rs 38.40 for buying and Rs 38.56 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 39.40 and Rs 39.57 respectively.
According to the bank, one Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.58. The UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 39.21 for buying and Rs 39.38 for selling. In the same way, the Malaysian ringgit is trading at Rs 35.53 for buying and Rs 35.67 for selling. The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.96 and the selling rate is Rs 10.00. The Swedish krona is set at Rs 15.60 for buying and Rs 15.67 for selling, while the Danish krone stands at Rs 22.60 and Rs 22.69 respectively.
One Hong Kong dollar is being bought at Rs 18.48 and sold at Rs 18.56. The Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs 468.51 for buying and Rs 470.46 for selling. Similarly, the Bahraini dinar is trading at Rs 382.02 for buying and Rs 383.61 for selling, while the Omani rial is priced at Rs 374.08 and Rs 375.64 respectively. Meanwhile, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
