Kshitij Thebe, President of the Rashtriya Yuva Sangh Nepal, the youth wing of Nepali Congress (UML), has challenged senior Rastriya Swatantra Party leader Balendra Sah to publicly clarify his stance on the disputed territories of Limpiyadhura, Kalapani, and Lipulekh.

Speaking at the first meeting of the National Youth Council in Kathmandu on Friday, Thebe questioned, “What is your official statement on Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura as the future Prime Minister?”

Thebe also criticized newly formed political parties for lacking concrete policies, vision, and agendas, urging them to participate in public debates. He highlighted UML’s achievements, including nationwide electricity expansion, IT development in public schools, and zero tolerance for corruption.

“The past saw only 6% of citizens with electricity during the Rana era. Under UML leadership, 98% now have access. We have included Limpiyadhura, Kalapani, and Lipulekh in Nepal’s official map. Future Prime Minister, what is your statement on these issues?” Thebe asked.

He further emphasized that UML is taking its agenda to the public to ensure happiness, prosperity, and sustainable development for Nepali society following the upcoming general elections.
