Turkish Airlines Flight Returns to Parking Bay After Technical Alert

A Turkish Airlines plane going from Kathmandu to Istanbul was stopped on the runway and brought back to the parking area due to a possible technical problem.

The flight, TK-727, was scheduled to leave Kathmandu at 12:35 pm. According to Tribhuvan International Airport’s Acting Director General Tek Nath Sitaula, the aircraft had already started moving for take-off after getting clearance when a warning signal showed a technical issue.

After the warning appeared, the crew immediately stopped the plane and returned it to the parking bay. Airport officials said the aircraft will fly again only after a full technical check is completed.
