Foreign Exchange Rates for Thursday

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for Thursday (May 22). The buying rate for 1 US dollar is NPR 136.73, and the selling rate is NPR 137.33, showing a slight increase of 1 paisa compared to Wednesday. 

Among other major currencies, the Euro is being bought at NPR 155.03 and sold at NPR 155.71. The British Pound is valued at NPR 183.36 for buying and NPR 184.17 for selling. The Swiss Franc stands at NPR 165.90 for buying and NPR 166.63 for selling. The Australian Dollar is trading at NPR 88.14 (buying) and NPR 88.53 (selling), while the Canadian Dollar is at NPR 98.50 and NPR 98.93 respectively. The Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 106.07 and a selling rate of NPR 106.53.

Looking at regional currencies, the Japanese Yen (per 10 units) is bought at NPR 9.52 and sold at NPR 9.56. The Chinese Yuan is traded at NPR 18.98 for buying and NPR 19.06 for selling. For 100 Indian Rupees, the buying rate is NPR 160.00 and the selling rate is NPR 160.15. The Saudi Riyal is exchanged at NPR 36.45 (buying) and NPR 36.61 (selling), while the Qatari Riyal is valued at NPR 37.51 and NPR 37.68. 

The UAE Dirham stands at NPR 37.23 for buying and NPR 37.39 for selling. The Thai Baht is at NPR 4.17 (buying) and NPR 4.19 (selling), and the Malaysian Ringgit is NPR 32.02 and NPR 32.16. The South Korean Won (per 100 units) is traded at NPR 9.94 for buying and NPR 9.98 for selling. The Hong Kong Dollar is bought at NPR 17.46 and sold at NPR 17.54.

Among other currencies, the Swedish Kronor has a buying rate of NPR 14.28 and a selling rate of NPR 14.34, while the Danish Kronor is valued at NPR 20.78 for buying and NPR 20.88 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar is the highest-valued currency on the list, with a buying rate of NPR 445.58 and a selling rate of NPR 447.53. 

The Bahraini Dinar is traded at NPR 362.66 (buying) and NPR 364.25 (selling), and the Omani Riyal stands at NPR 355.17 for buying and NPR 356.72 for selling.
