Three names have been recommended for the position of Chairman of SEBON

Three names have been recommended for the position of Chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal.

On Sunday, the recommendation committee suggested the names of Santosh Narayan Shrestha, Dr. Navraj Adhikari, and Muktinath Shrestha, according to sources.

The recommendation committee had called in the chairman candidates, Krishna Bahadur Karki, and Chiranjeevi Chapagain to the Ministry of Finance for interviews and presentations. However, Chapagain did not participate.

Among those who attended the interviews and presentations, Krishna Bahadur Karki, the CEO of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), was not included in the final recommendation list.

Santosh Narayan and Muktinath had already participated in the interview and presentation process on the 2nd of Ashar. Now, the Cabinet will appoint one of the three recommended candidates as the Chairman of the Securities Board.
