Three Houses Destroyed In Devastating Fire In Gorkha

A fire has destroyed three houses in Shyamchet, Manwuko of Arughat Rural Municipality-1, Gorkha.

According to the Gorkha District Police Office, the houses of local residents Purnabahadur Lama and his two sons, Buddhiman and Aitesing Lama, were completely burned down. The fire started around 6:30 PM on Saturday when a stove was lit to cook, and the flames spread to the nearby maize husks, eventually igniting Purnabahadur's house.

Fortunately, there were no injuries to people or animals. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.
