The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) has announced its decision to make the property details of its central office-bearers public.

Maoist Centre President Prachanda has presented a plan within the party to ensure financial transparency, under which the property details of central office-bearers will be disclosed. This provision is mentioned in the political report presented at the party's central committee meeting. It states, "The property details of central office-bearers will be made public."

Additionally, the proposal includes a provision that central committee members must update their property details annually and submit them to the central office. Elected representatives and those holding political appointments are also required to submit their property details.

Comrades holding high-level political positions in the government at all three levels, such as federal MPs, provincial assembly members, and those with significant political appointments, must submit their property details within one month of assuming responsibility. Furthermore, they will be required to update their property details annually throughout their term of service, as per the plan.
