53 People Were Arrested In A Police Raid

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police raided a call center in Satdobato, Lalitpur, and arrested 53 people, including two Indian nationals, for operating an online gambling ring. 

CIB spokesperson, Deputy Superintendent of Police Hobindra Bogati, stated that the suspects were involved in running an online casino. The police seized 85 laptops and 82 mobile phones. 

Investigations are ongoing, and the authorities plan to request an extension of the detention period for further inquiry.
