The death toll from the earthquake that struck China on Tuesday morning has reached 95. According to the Chinese news agency Xinhua, at least 130 people have been injured in the earthquake.
Meanwhile, according to People's Daily Online, at 9:05 AM Beijing time, a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck Dingri County in the Tibet Autonomous Region.
Nepal's National Earthquake Measurement Center reported that the earthquake's magnitude was 7. According to the China Earthquake Network Center, the epicenter was located 10 kilometers beneath the surface.
People's Daily reports that many houses in Tonglai Village of Dingri collapsed. The county chief of Dingri mentioned that a strong tremor was felt in the area. Authorities and rescue workers are reportedly heading to the affected region.
