The government is working on a plan to offer free treatment for brain hemorrhages, announced Minister for Health and Population, Pradip Paudel.
Speaking at a program on the 63rd anniversary of Kanti Children's Hospital, the Minister also highlighted the hospital’s recent achievement of providing free treatment for child cancer. Acknowledging the challenges faced by Kanti Children's Hospital, particularly in terms of physical infrastructure and human resource shortages, Paudel assured continued support from the ministry. He praised the hospital for delivering high-quality services despite these limitations, which has earned it widespread trust.

Established in 2019 BS with just 50 beds, Kanti Children's Hospital has grown to become the only central and referral children’s hospital in the country, now operating with 372 beds. In the last fiscal year, the hospital provided healthcare services to over 180,000 children.
