An earthquake epicenter in China on Tuesday morning was strongly felt in 9 districts of Nepal. The earthquake, located 90 kilometers away from Nepal on average, was felt in the Koshi, Madhes, and Bagmati provinces.
The earthquake, with a magnitude of 7, was felt in the Sankhuwasabha, Bhojpur, Tehrathum, Taplejung, Dhankuta, Khotang, Okhaldhunga, Solukhumbu, and Panchthar.
According to the National Emergency Operations Centre, there have been no reports of human casualties in the areas where strong tremors were felt. However, some buildings have reportedly cracked in certain areas.
Additionally, light tremors were felt in the districts of Ilam, Jhapa, Sunsari, Morang, and Udaypur. Similrly, no tremors were reported in the provinces of Karnali, Sudurpashchim, and Gandaki.
