The Supreme Court has refused to issue an interim order on the writ petitions filed against the dissolution of the House of Representatives.

A five-member constitutional bench concluded that the issues raised in the petitions should be examined during the final hearing, not at the interim stage.

The court stated that since the matters presented for the interim order are directly related to the final verdict, there is no need to issue an interim directive at this point.

With this decision, the Supreme Court has effectively declined to grant the petitioners’ request for an interim order against the government’s move to dissolve the lower house.
