Gen Z Activists Push for Governance Reforms in Talks with Government

In the latest round of discussions held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar, Gen Z representatives urged the government to focus on good governance and anti-corruption action rather than limiting national priorities to upcoming elections.

The meeting, attended by government officials, political party representatives, and Gen Z leaders, centered on the youth-led movement’s core demands for transparency and accountability in public institutions.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the participants stressed that political change cannot be achieved through elections alone and called for joint efforts to promote effective governance and integrity within the system.

The youth delegation also reiterated their commitment to work constructively with the government to address corruption and strengthen democratic values across all sectors.
