One Dead, Four Injured in Jeep Accident in Baitadi

A passenger jeep accident in Swakhani, Melauli Municipality-7 of Baitadi district left one person dead and four others injured on Wednesday night.

The jeep (Se. 1 Ja. 732) was carrying passengers from Shivnath to Melauli when it met with the accident, police said.

According to District Police Office Spokesperson Baldev Badu, 23-year-old Tulsi Pandey of Melauli-2, who was critically injured, died while undergoing treatment at Kesharpur Primary Health Center.

The remaining injured passengers have been referred to Dadeldhura Hospital for further treatment.
